We invite you to help us celebrate the release of Evans’ new book Be The Artist: The Interactive Guide to a Lasting Art Career. Join us at the Museum of Art on Wednesday, February 26th at 6:00pm to hear Evans speak about his book.
Thomas Evans, a.k.a. Detour, is an all-around creative specializing in large scale public art, interactive visuals, portraiture, immersive spaces, and creative directing. His book, Be the Artist, aims to be a go-to handbook as young artists enter the art world and begin navigating the nuances of becoming self-sufficient. It is designed to help up-and-coming creatives educate themselves on essential yet seldom-discussed strategies, learn about new and relevant artists, and gather the resources they’ll need to build their business.
