Techstars Startup Week and Artup Week Fort Collins 2020

Picasso once said, “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” Making art and doing creative activities is fun, relaxing, therapeutic, and makes us feel accomplished. If we can agree that the arts are beneficial, then why do we stop doing once we’re adults? In this talk, we will discuss how the experience of creating art is just as important as the final product and how we can incorporate creative practices into our daily lives. This talk is perfect for the beginning artist (or someone who wants to release their inner creativity) and we will make a small painting during the class.
