D Dennison has been an award winning (semi-retired) radio announcer for over 30 years, nearly 20 of those years right here in Northern Colorado. She has been involved with many NoCo non-profits including serving on the boards of the Larimer County Boys and Girls Club, 3 Hopeful Hearts, and Voices Carry Child Advocacy Center playing a pivotal role in the 2016 re-branding campaign. Married and the mother of four children, D has walked through fire and rain, including parental drug addiction and suicide, sexual assault and child loss, a proud woman to be standing, even if sometimes wobbly, thanks to her self-awareness, ability to challenge her thought process and constantly encouraging balance in her life. She is working on a book that will chronicle some of her trials and is ramping up to launch a podcast, Voices Take Flight, next month.
