Albee brings more than 30 years of varied experience to MAPR's clients. Prior to creating MAPRagency via merger (2005) and acquisition (2014) he worked in marketing and public relations positions at Coors Brewing Company, the Sterling-Rice Group and directed global communications -- including a $332 million IPO -- for Maxtor, a $2.6 billion hard disk drive manufacturer (acquired by Seagate in 2006). Among Albee's marketing awards: The Magellan Platinum Award (League of American Communications Professionals), several Gold Pick Awards (PRSA), The Distinguished Communicator Award (International Association of Business Communicators) and the Denver Business Journal’s prestigious “Forty Under 40” list. Albee’s experience includes packaged goods, tech, healthcare, clean energy, real estate, cybersecurity and nonprofits. He is a Board Member of the Boulder Chamber and the Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence and holds a degree in Mass Communications from the University of Denver.
